Morning Scripture; Philippians 3:12-21
Paul says he gave up “all that inferior stuff” so he could know Christ personally — not casually, not conveniently, but deeply. He wanted resurrection power, even if it meant walking through suffering. That’s a faith that refuses to wait for perfect conditions.
Paul’s words in Philippians are not casual. They are not comfortable. They are not convenient. They are costly.
He says, “I gave up all that inferior stuff…” — meaning everything that once mattered IN HIS PRESENT STANDINGS, everything he once depended on, everything he once thought defined him — “So I Could Know Christ Personally.”
Not know About Him.
Not know Of Him.
But to know Him — deeply, intimately, and experientially!
